Mud Dipping

Date / Time
Start date:
Mon, 07/05/2018 - 10:00am - 12:00pm

Southport is a very important place for wading birds to feed so we will be learning about how the different birds' beaks help them to find different food.

Wear wellies and be prepared to get muddy!

We will meet opposite Ocean Plaza under Southport Pier and make our way onto the mud from there.

Everyone is welcome, however this event will involve walking on unstable and slippery ground, so you do need to be fit and mobile.

Under 18’s must be accompanied by an adult.

Summary:
Come and join us this May bank holiday for a family-friendly introduction to the bird life of the Sefton coast and get stuck into the mud to find the creatures that they eat!
